Due to the seriousness of the current Covid-19 situation I have taken the decision to once again close the clinic. Even with all the precautions in place, the current transmission rate of the new virus strain and current levels of Covid-19 in the community means that, in my opinion, close contact in the physiotherapy clinic room is now high risk. I further regret to inform you that this current closure will be on a permanent basis. The permanency of the closure is due to the fact that my wife and I have been contemplating a move to Australia for a number of years and have now made the decision to make the move in the next three months. With the current closure it would not be economically nor clinically feasible to re-open for a short period of time and have to then close again.
I know for some of you that this is rather disappointing as you may have been at the beginning or in the middle of a treatment and rehab programme and that this may now leave you at a loose end. In this regard I can quite confidently recommend a number of alternative, reputable and nearby physiotherapy clinic options which I have listed below.
The last nine months has been a very rocky period and I have no doubt that there will be more rocky periods to come but, there is light at the end of the tunnel with the rollout of the vaccination programme. With any luck, Ireland will be a much safer place come the summertime and the year 2022 will hopefully be one of normalcy and resolution.
Should you need further treatment, injury advice and exercise prescription I can recommend the following clinics:
