Established in 2012, Running Technique Workshop was set up to cater for runners of all levels by providing an educational facility to individuals and groups on the topic of correct running form. Running is one of the most liberating and convenient ways to exercise but unfortunately due to lifestyle and developmental factors many of us now lack the muscular hardware and the neuro-muscular software to run properly.
It's all well and good, and indeed commendable, to put on the running shoes and go out and do the miles, but unfortunately there is far more to it than that! Back pain, knee pain, plantar fasciitis, calf strains and hip pain are all signs that all is not as it should be. Running Technique Workshop covers it all. Through an experienced and systematic approach a workshop will identify your weaknesses, identify your strengths and give you the tools to enable you to improve alignment, muscle length, muscle strength and running technique.
Workshops range from beginners through to advanced and are open to individuals, groups and corporate clients.
